• Alexandria Chamber of Shipping held its Second General Assembly  for r the fiscal year 2012/2013 in the Syrian club on Sunday 19/05/2013 to discuss and approve the budget for the fiscal year 2013/2014 and choose the Auditor in the presence of Eng. Ahmed El Akkad, the Chamber Chairman,Mr. Khaled El Bahtimy , the Chamber Vice-Chairman, Eng. Fathallah Abd El Aziz, the General Secretary , Mr. Walid Badr, the Treasurer, Ms.  Huda Tahyo, Eng. Marwan El Sammak, Eng. Tawfik Aly Gad,  Mr. Bassem Zian, Captain Tarek Shahin, the board members and Mr. AssemNossier, the representative of El Deeb Bureau,( the chamber legal consultant).
• On Sunday 19/05/2013, Eng. Ahmed El Akkad, the Chamber Chairman invited the chamber board members to attend a consultative meeting after the General Assembly meeting to present and discuss ways to develop and improve the performance of the chamber activities followed by the dinner.
